The Friends of Pinery Park Raffle
|
Each year, the Friends of Pinery
operate a raffle with three or more prizes. First prize is usually
a Nova Craft Canoe, with second prize being a pair of bicycles and
third prize is a week of camping at Pinery. So far, the raffle
funds have contributed to the building of the Bicycle Trail, along
with the development of colour trail guides and the purchase of a
Voyageur Canoe and an Outreach Education display. For 2001 the raffle
proceeds were used to produce interpretive signs for several areas
in the park.
