Visitor Centre
Effective October 5th the Visitor Centre will be open:
Saturday & Sunday from 10-5
For extended hours during Christmas holidays, and March break download Visitor

We will also be open for Family Day, February 15th

No visit to Pinery would be complete without a stop at the Visitor Centre. Open since 1993, the centre has exhibits on the park's natural history, the Savanna Shores nature gift shop and an indoor theatre featuring wildlife videos. The Park Naturalist at the Information Desk can answer questions about the park, its facilities & natural features. Everyone is invited to take part in the interpretive programs, or book a guided group tour through the Visitor Centre with a Park Naturalist. |

Computer Laptop Payphone - bring your laptop (requires modem) and dial into your e-mail provider to check-up on the "real world".

Self-discovery area highlighting major
ecosystems, flora and fauna and other interesting facts about the park.

Large picture windows that peer out to the many bird feeders offer great views of common Pinery birds that include: Tufted Titmouse, Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Blue Jay's, Chickadee's, Baltimore Orioles, Sparrows and countless other species.
