The Savanna Strollers Pinery Walking Club is a partnership between the Friends of Pinery Park, Ontario Parks, the Grand Bend Community Health Center and the Lambton Heritage Museum.
Each week on Wednesday mornings the Savanna Strollers Pinery Walking Club walk / hike a different trail in Pinery Provincial Park.  Participants will meet one of our Volunteer Coordinators at the Lambton Heritage Museum South side parking lot at 9:15 am, where the participants will be led in a short warm up and stretching routine before car pooling with others in the group to the walking trail-head. Fast walkers are welcome to do the trail 2 or 3 times to get their steps in.  All Welcome!!

Reminders to Volunteer Coordinators:
– Arrange for alternate if need be
– Meet punctually at Lambton Heritage Museum at 9:15AM (8:45AM July and August)
– Arrange car-pool to Pinery Provincial Park
– Do stretch exercises at Lambton Heritage Museum before we car pool over to trailhead
– Take along Safety Pack and accompany ‘Slowest Walkers’ – Encourage ‘Buddy system’
– Allow participants to walk/snow-shoe at own pace
– Update Attendance Log

We are currently looking for volunteer coordinators for the walking club. Coordinators will be responsible for the passes on the day of the walk and distributing them to other walking club participants as needed and other responsibilities as outlined under “Reminders to Volunteer Coordinators”.
