Birdhouses for Halloween!
Friends of Pinery Park, Halloween birdhouse building and painting was a huge success. All 58 birdhouse kits sold very quickly! The amazing team of volunteers who cut and put the birdhouse kits together were also a hit with the kids as they helped each of them put their houses together, and taught them how to use a power tool.
The parents had a wonderful time watching their children pick their colours and paint their birdhouses. Some of the younger ones needed a little help, but overall, the kids worked independently and created some beautiful homes for our feathered friends.
