In the spring of 2017 we began the fundraising initiative of collecting returnable beer, wine and liquor bottles from the campgrounds. This has been very successful due to the dedication of a small group of volunteers. The project can be expanded but more volunteers are needed. Bottle collection and sorting are done throughout the busy season on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.  We need someone with a truck to help with the bottle collecting and people to help with the sorting. Not only does this provide funds to support Friends of Pinery Park but it saves these bottles and cans from going to the landfill.
