Friends of Pinery Park has been assisting Pinery Provincial Park to provide Rolling Boardwalks to protect our fragile eco-system. These boardwalks can be easily installed and removed to provide defined pathways for visitors to use so that they don’t damage the area and they provide better accessibility. With the funds raised by Friend of Pinery Park, TD Friends of the Environment, Sunset Community Foundation, RBC Community Challenge and Marjorie & Joseph Wright Foundation we have been able to continue this project.
